Phonics
At Bacon Garth School we use Twinkl as our primary scheme for the teaching and learning of phonics. We use their e-books to support the scheme as well as the Rhino Readers books that link to each phonics stage of learning.
Following on from the initial Twinkl phonics strategy pupils follow the Oxford Reading Tree scheme up until the end of KS2.
